Assisted with implementation of NetView/6000 network management system. Obtained and supplied information on ATM technology to our department. Researched and instructed team on how to install a NetWare file server with 150 OS/2 clients and 3 OS/2 3270 gateways on ethernet. Provided second level support for 17 NetWare administrators. Initial contact for Carrier'’s computer users. Performed initial problem determination and resolution or assignment to appropriate support personnel. Monitored on-line network and applications (IMS, CICS, TSO, UCC7). Customized cluster controller microcode (IBM, ATT, Telex). Developed and implemented procedures for tracking microcode modifications to improve accuracy. Installed LeeMAH SAM call back security system for dial up access to an IBM mainframe.
